So yesterday was submission deadline, we had to turn into these 3 backup logos, since we had trouble with illustrator with our other main logos.
its always fun making a logo, and its a really long procedure, but this time it was even harder, the university stated it wanted the five specializations it has integrated within the logo. that normally is not that hard, but u have to work hard to get them all together in meaningful, geometrically consistent manner, and - here is the tricky part- still visible when scaled down.
Drawing a logo starts normally with me on a sketch pad, back to a transparent drawing paper when semi finalized, then i take a photo of it, into illustrator for that nice vectory image :)
Would appreciate some input on the logos ! :)

nice work. I like the third one, but it looks like you're giving someone the finger!!
hi.. we also wanted to take part in the competition, but every mail we sent was followed by a mail delivery failure.. did it work with your entries? We would be happy about an answer because we really have no idea, why it did not work. thanks a lot.. to the logos, nice work in general, but I don't get the meaning of the second one..

im trying also to participate but i have failure delivery coz thier inbox is full..i've worked hard on my logo but it's all in vain..wut can i do???
Sorry to hear that, i sent the logos from my gmail, and they didnt give me trouble at all.
Try sending them from a gmail account, and attach a note stating the problems u faced when u tried to send it,
about the second logo, i was going for " classic meets modern" when the curve meets the line, the curve represents the IT and business major that are in the university and it spells out the letter U, along with the line the figure spells out the letter A, the whole artistic figure represents the Applied Art Major, and the resemblance to a highway road is the link to the transport Major the University also teaches.
hope this gives u a taste of the logo :)
